Power Book III: Raising Kanan is a prequel set in the 1990s that will chronicle the early years of Kanan Stark, the character first played by executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.

As a despondent Lou becomes a liability for the family, Raq and Marvin work to get the new heroin operation up and running amidst new competition from Kanan and Ronnie.
Episode 9 “Home to Roost”:
Ronnie and Kanan’s feud with Raq intensifies as Marvin desperately searches for Lou. Famous and Jukebox both find themselves at potential turning points in their music careers.
Episode 9 “Made You Look”:
Desperation sets in as Howard tries to evade the Task Force and Ronnie goes on the attack, leaving Raq and Kanan to make some fateful choices.
